Our early-stage design services
Early-stage design terminology varies across the industry. Whether it’s concept, Pre-FEED or FEED, we work with you to define and scope your project in your terms, to fit your requirements.
Site data assessment
We begin by collecting information about your proposed site, including wind, wave, and soil conditions. We also gather data on the turbines you’re planning to use.
Concept design
We use the assessment outputs to produce a suitable concept design. This takes into account technical characteristics, risks, costs, potential supply chain issues, and logistics. Your concept design provides valuable insights to shape project decisions, especially around fabrication, and transport and installation (T&I) methodologies.
Front-end engineering design (FEED)
Once your concept design is agreed, we produce your front-end engineering design (FEED). This will give you more detail on factors such as weight, manufacturing cost, and installation cost, to inform your business case.
